I have not changed the water since putting the aquarium together and it has not gotten any cloudier in my opinion and still looks good.I like the way it looks, but some people think it looks creepy. After a couple of days it became a bit cloudier, and I was worried I would need to change the water more than I anticipated. It’s 100% not a necessity and it’s something that is probably juvenile but if you’ve got it in your head that this is something you want to own and have an extra $75 for it, it’s not a terrible purchase.When I first put the water in, it was very clear of course. I like that it automatically turns off after a few hours, so you dont have to worry about turning it off. The light looks very cool, you have two buttons that can either go in a rotation of colors or stick with just one you like best. After that, the jellyfish moved around normally, and the weird movement hasn’t been a problem for me since then. Also again make sure you followed the instructions to a T. So incredibly disappointed at the $75 I wasted.UPDATE:The above problem was an issue I experienced for the first couple of days I had the aquarium. Not only does the Sensory Moon 14 inch tall fake jellyfish aquarium come with three large real. There are a few questions about this product mentioning the same problem as me. This is nothing like the videos or what you imagine it will be.
Cycling a tank with a fish in the tank is putting the fish at risk of exposure to toxins that can lead to long term damage and even death. A proper cycle takes 5-8 weeks with out a fish in. This is a problem in the make of the aquarium and makes this an extremely expensive mistake. If store told you tank was safe after 24 hours, this is very inaccurate and dangerous information. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The one I ordered lights up fine, but the jellyfish are STUCK at the top and BARELY MOVE.
